Dr. Flood is originally from Rothesay and is seeing her dreams come to fruition. She never thought she’d live in the area again, and now she is opening her own periodontal practice in Quispamsis. 

Brittany is a board-certified periodontist and graduated from the Dalhousie Periodontics Program in 2017. She has been working for the past 6 years, mainly at a private practice in Halifax. She has also had the pleasure of treating military members in Halifax for two years, working as a civilian periodontist at the Canadian Forces Base in Halifax. She is the past president of the Atlantic Society of Periodontists and is currently the President of the Saint John Dental Society.

Brittany graduated with distinction from McGill University’s dental program in 2013. At her graduation, she received the Marvin and Mandy Werbitt Award in Dentistry, the 3M ESPE Clinical Award, the Canadian Academy of Periodontology Book Prize and the Dr. Morton & Dr. Jonathan Lang Prize in Dentistry. Following graduation, Brittany attended the University of Connecticut for one year, receiving a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. During that year, she focused her training on extractions, implant placement and periodontal surgeries. 

Brittany loves quality time with her husband, Daniel, their two daughters and their goldendoodle. They are thrilled to have close family nearby. In their free time, the family enjoys walking at Spyglass and spending time on the Kennebecasis River.
